I’m a homeschool mom, watercolor artist, and lifelong lover of the natural world.
Wonder & Wander began because I couldn’t find nature resources that reflected the place my own children were actually growing up.
Everything talked about snowy winters and autumn leaves.
Meanwhile, outside our window, Florida was telling a completely different story.
So I started painting it.
One month at a time.

Field Notes is designed for curious children roughly ages 4–12, but we’ve found older siblings, younger siblings, and even parents enjoy them just as much.
Is this a curriculum?
No. It’s intentionally smaller than that. Think of it as a monthly invitation to notice, explore, and wonder together.
What’s included online?
Each postcard includes access to a private Field Guide with fascinating facts, Florida places to visit, and simple activities you can do together.
Can siblings share one subscription?
Absolutely. Every envelope is designed to be enjoyed together.

No. I am the artist whose hands, paintbrushes, and heart created every illustration on every postcard and for every sticker. My children (ages 7, 12 & 13) are my adventure assistants; they keep me in touch with my own inner-yong explorer.
I don’t believe children need more information.
I think they need more reasons to fall in love with the world around them.
